Presentation Mode
Take a quick, intentional pass through the things that commonly get missed before a meeting begins.
Free and open source for macOS 14+
Share your screen, not your surprises.
Privfox Screen helps you prepare your Mac for a presentation—and gives you a fast, deliberate Privacy Curtain when something unexpected appears.
No account. No analytics. No tracking. Core tools work offline.
The real macOS app
Designed to stay calm when the moment is not.
From first launch to a completed pre-share checklist, every screen keeps the next useful action clear and close.
Built for the moment before you share
A calmer way to present.
Privfox keeps the important parts close: a short preparation checklist, a trusted-app reminder, and a full-display cover you can trigger in a second.
Safe Apps
Optionally get a local warning when an app outside your own trusted list becomes frontmost.
Privacy Curtain
Cover every connected display with an opaque curtain, then dismiss it with a button or your shortcut.
No silent monitoring
Private by design. Honest by design.
Privfox Screen is a deliberate presentation companion, not surveillance software. It never reads your notifications, screen contents, files, or typed text.
Read the privacy approachA useful boundary
It helps you react. It does not promise the impossible.
macOS does not let an app reliably identify every active share in every meeting app, or block all screenshots and recordings. Privfox says that plainly.
What it is
A checklist, local Safe Apps warning, and emergency curtain for your connected displays.
What it is not
It is not a universal screen-share detector, a capture blocker, antivirus, or a guarantee against exposure.
